Real spoons and forks are a luxury

I made enough money selling old textbooks on Amazon to finance a book buying spree! I think it is an excellent sort of trade. I sell books, and with the money, turn right back around and buy more.

Sort of how it worked at the last bookstore I worked at, too. Take each paycheck and buy books, and at a hefty discount.

Wedding gifts keep arriving in the mail so it is like Christmas every day around here. Today we got the entire set of silverware!

I think I have figured out the gauge for the yarn from Katherine - definitely US10. The pattern is a little more difficult to figure out than I thought. The increases happen slower than I realized, so I don't have enough stitches to start a new lace panel at the right time to line it up with its neighbor.

I should really just buy the Charlotte pattern somewhere. What I REALLY need, is somewhere that sells the pattern, AND US10 circs that are at least 26".

Back to other news, my bike now has a computer, I dyed my hair browner, and am collecting mushroom specimens for identification tomorrow afternoon. I am excited.
