Married!

I am married!

It was a wonderful weekend, everything was perfect. The weather, the flowers, the people who came to Iowa from all over the country!

Of course there has been no knitting since there were more important things going on. While hanging around with arriving family I did do quite a bit before the rehearsal.

Katherine finished quilting and binding a quilt for us. There are words from the vows, our names, and prairie flowers quilted into it, on squares with greens and blues and yellows.

The flowers were bright and stunning.

The mothers stayed in town for a whole week, and were a little excitable, but made good surprises. I didn't know the quilt would be done, they gave out coupons for Dari Barn where we went on a first date, and lots of bubbles when we arrived at the country club.

Time for some relaxation now, though.
