Blizzard

This one was a doozy. First it rained, then it froze, and started to sleet, and then snow, and snow hard. There is a good 7 inches of snow on top of an inch of ice.

Yesterday, everyone was talking about the weather. It had been quite warm and smelled like spring and was absolutely wonderful for the beginning of February. But a storm was on the way! It would be a horrible blizzard! We might not even be able to get to classes, since they are a whole block away from where we live! So much snow! And wind! It is a little cold, and last night was sort of windy, but we got 2 inches of snow. And everyone is acting like it the blizzard of the century! They are being silly. So some of them are from Hawaii or even more tropical areas and they were wearing down jackets and hats in September.
